My Favorite Store…

One of the hardest things I have found about getting older is that it is hard to find a good consistent store for clothing shopping.  In college, my go to store was Forever 21, mostly because I could afford it, but it was also fun.  Flash forward to today, I am almost 8 years out of college and Forever 21 is unfortunately not really working on a consistent basis for me.  As my husband once told me, “Sorry, Holly you can’t be 21, forever.”  For a while I loved the Lou & Grey line at Loft, but then got annoyed because it was never included in their sales and I felt like a lot of their stuff took an interesting turn, and I no longer easily found clothes I liked.

I will always and forever love J. Crew, but let’s be serious, some of their stuff is ridiculously expensive and I just don’t want to spend what they want me to spend.  I, also should probably say, I don’t really like spending a lot on clothes.  I get sick of some clothes quickly, so I prefer to not spend half my paycheck on a dress, shirt, or shorts.  Jeans, purses, boots, coats, and some other specific items are the only things I will spend a little more on.

That being said, I have found myself returning to one of my favorite childhood stores…OLD NAVY! I love Old Navy because they have cute stuff that is also really cheap.  I work in outside sales and wander around the city all day, so I don’t really like spending money on things I will most likely ruin.  This is why Old Navy rules.  I recently went on my honeymoon to Belize and found a bunch of cute clothes for my trip, and most of them were on sale or extremely cheap.  I literally got the shirt below for around $8…

It was so comfy and who can beat $8!!! I also love coupons, but I am too ADHD to a) remember them b)organize them neatly c)find them when I am actually shopping at the specific store.  However, I do have a separate email for coupons from stores, which my husband will NEVER let me live down.  I personally thought it was the greatest idea in the world to make a separate email to give to stores.  What I didn’t realize is that he would forever call me by the email “HollyCoupon.”  It would be awesome if I actually remembered to use all these great coupons I receive….this is one of my new year’s resolutions for next year!!  Anyways, if you are looking for some cute, and inexpensive things, I encourage you to check out Old Navy first!  Here are some other cute things I have or plan to buy…

I have a dress similar to this one that I LOVE for work, and everyone is always shocked to hear it's from Old Navy!

Old Navy is even 40% off right now, you can return anything you don’t like to a store, and you can also shop at Athleta (my favorite store for work out gear when I want to spend a little more)!

Thanks for reading and have a fun day 🙂
