Here I am again!

Sooooo after a long pause on my blog, I’ve decided to return. I had quite a lot going on in my life and just felt like I didn’t have the time to dedicate and energy needed to write a daily blog.

I recently received an email about my domain stating that it would be renewed automatically unless I chose to stop it. I had a small epiphany and realized I didn’t quite want to stop it yet. I still felt like I had more to say!

The crazy thing is reflecting on my few months of blogging, I have to say it was quite fun, but some days…!it was also quite challenging. I felt like some of my blogs were more forced than I wanted them to be. So instead I’ve decided, that I’m just going to write about what I feel like writing about instead of having scheduled days. That way my blog won’t feel so forced. I’m also not going to write every single day, because let’s be serious…life gets pretty busy!

Anyways I’m happy to be back in action and with a new plan. Hopefully some of you will enjoy what I have to say and if you don’t that’s okay too. As always if you have any feedback or have a topic you would like me to discuss always feel free to reach out to me at hollyontheblog@gmail.com.

We had a very fun weekend up in CT cheering on my father-in-law, brother-in-law, and sister-in-law as they ran a half marathon. It was my first time going to a race and I had so much fun. We were able to see them before they started and were able to catch my sister-in-law right around the halfway point. It was so hard to find my FIL and BIL. My SIL and I shared our location through “find my friends” on our iPhones which made it so easy to track her. Haha sounds so creepy! But, it was really great and made finding her so much easier. We also spent time with my MIL and some of our very special family friends. One of our family friends had a recent health emergency as they found a tumor on her brain stem. She has since had surgery and we got to see her for the first time since this weekend. It really made me truly happy and made me appreciate the life I have so much more. Although emergencies can be so scary and trying–they often remind you of how lucky you are to have the people you do in your life. It’s a frightening wake up call, but sometimes I think we all need a wake up call.

Anyways, I hope you all have an amazing week and I can’t wait to continue my blogging journey with you.

Thanks for reading and have a fun WEEEEEK 🙂

Here are some pictures from this weekend…
