Proud to be a NITTANY LION and a MOM!

I’m not quite sure how to describe how good this Monday feels! This past weekend was one of the best weekends ever! Not only did I get to see a whole bunch of my friends and be in Happy Valley…we got to be in Happy Valley the weekend that PSU beat Ohio state 24-21. This game was one for the record books. The excitement in the stadium was unreal. I was so happy this was my husband’s first Penn State Football game. It was certainly a damn good one! PSU has had it’s share of sad news in the past few years and I feel like this was what we needed to see that our program is better, stronger, and here to put up a good fight. This is the first time since 2011 that PSU has been ranked. We are 24 out of 25, and it never felt so good! Congratulations to Coach Franklin and the amazing PSU team!!! We love you!!!

In other news, this weekend, my husband and I decided to go public with our personal news. We are expecting a baby girl in April 2017! We are so excited to embark on the journey of becoming parents together and figuring out how to raise our first daughter.

In all seriousness, Dan (my husband) was petrified when he found out we are having a girl. He has mostly boys in his family and was convinced he can’t have a girl genetically. Well…our little girl has already blown him away and I know she will continue to throughout her life! He is going to be the biggest mush once she is born.

We decided that her name will be Harper, with her middle name Janna! We wanted to thank our moms with her middle name by combining their two names, Janis and Donna!

We are so excited to share our fun news and now I can post every picture of myself because I was filtering out any where you could see my bump!

Anyways, I hope you all enjoy your week and have a very happy BLUE & WHITE Monday!

Thanks for reading and have a fun day 🙂

Here are a few pics from the weekend…
