This election has been very emotional for me.
Today the United States of America has the opportunity to voice their opinion and at the end of this day we very well may have the FIRST Woman President in the United States of America. If that’s not exciting for you, then you should probably stop reading because I can’t wait to start seeing the results!
I can’t believe today is here. This has been such a suspenseful year leading up to this day. I have debated with people I didn’t even want to debate with, I have cried, and I have realized how proud I am to be born a woman in the United States of America. Maybe a better statement would be that I am proud to be a NASTY WOMAN!
I love this country and I am so appreciative of all the women that came before my time to fight and to give me the right to vote. I am also so grateful for our military and their families who give up a “normal” life to protect the freedom that many people in this country take for granted.
Today I say thank you to people I never had the chance to meet and to those I know that make sure their voice is heard.
Just in case you didn’t read my last post– I will end with this…I don’t believe in discrimination or harassment–I believe that every person in this country deserves the right to not only be in the workplace, but be in a workplace that is free of “locker room talk,” discrimination, and harassment.
Happy Election Day!
And just in case you want to see a cute picture of my dog…
